Nigerian youngster Henry Onyekuru has revealed exclusively to AfricanFootball.com he has rejected bumper offers from big teams within and outside Belgium ahead of the January transfer so as to remain with Eupen.

The 19-year-old hitman said he is delighted to attract interest from top clubs, but he said he wishes to remain with Eupen till at least the end of the season.

“I have offers to join Fernerbahce, RB Leipzig, CDKA Moscow and Hoffeinheim in January, but for now I just want to focus on my performance for Eupen and after the season I will move,” Onyekuru told AfricanFootball.com

“It’s a good feeling that these clubs want me, it shows I am doing well and working hard.”
