Southeast Asian teams learn their fate in AFC Cup draw
Last year’s semi-finalists Johor Darul Ta’zim will face Burmese club Magwe, as well as Filipino side Global F.C in the group F of the 2017 AFC Cup, as revealed in a lot-drawing event held on Tuesday.
Another Malaysian club, Felda United, will be in group G, along with V-League newly-crowned champions Hanoi T&T, Indonesian side Tampines Rovers and Filipino club Ceres.
Meanwhile, V.League runners-up last season Than Quang Ninh will face Burmese club Yadanarbon FC and Laotian side Lanexang United in group H.
Defending champions Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya from Iraq will face Al-Hidd, Safa and Al-Wahda in group B.
