Ghana international Joseph Aidoo will be considered by German football powerhouse Bayern Munich.

This is according to Bayern manager Hans-Dieter Flick, who hinted the European champions will consider a move to sign the central defender from Spanish club Celta Vigo.

Flick was speaking in reaction to recent remarks by Aidoo who expressed a desire to follow in the footsteps of compatriot Samuel Osei Kuffour.

Legendary Ghana defender Kuffour is best remembered for his time with Bayern whom he represented for over a decade, winning a total of 14 honours, and playing in nearly 250 official matches.

“There are a lot of players who would like to play at FC Bayern,” he said on Modern Ghana.

“If he [Joseph Aidoo] has the appropriate disposition and quality, then I think he will be dealt with.”

Aidoo has become a consistent performer for Celta in La Liga this season having played 20 matches in the competition thus far.

The 25-year-old agreed to leave Belgian club KRC Genk for Celta for a reported fee of €8 million in July 2019.

He has played seven international matches for Ghana.
