Vietnamese footballer has suffered a knee injury that could potentially keep him out of action for three weeks.

The 28-year-old attacker collided with two Hanoi T&T players in the domestic cup final before falling down on his knee, injuring himself in the process. He was rushed to a nearby hospital immediately.

Nghiem Xuan Tu has just received his first call-up to the national team recently.

However, the injured footballer is unlikely to make debut for the Golden Stars in friendly matches against North Korea and Indonesia, which is scheduled to play in early October.
