Tokelo Rantie has reportedly joined Mamelodi Sundowns.

The Bafana Bafana forward, who had an ill-fated stay at English Premier League club Bournemouth where he scored five goals in 53 matches, has been training with the Brazilians for the last couple of months.

According to Soccer Laduma, Rantie has now signed for the defending Absa Premiership champions; penning a three-year deal at Chloorkop.

Rantie, 29, left Cape Town City in December 2018 just a few months after joining the club from Turkish club Genclerbirligi. He failed to make an official appearance for the Citizens.

Having started his professional career in Mozambique, Rantie made a name for himself at Orlando Pirates and most notable Malmo FF who he helped to league glory six years ago.

Rantie has scored 13 goals in 40 games for South Africa.
