Ugandan midfielder Khalid Aucho has reportedly filed for the termination of his deal with Egyptian club Misr El-Makkasa, claiming he has not been paid for more than half a year.

After impressing for Uganda at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, Aucho moved to El-Makkasa as a free agent, signing a deal which runs to the end of June 2021.

The player’s agent, Geoffrey Solo Kayemba, has forwarded Aucho’s complaints to football governing bodies, including the Federation of Uganda Football Associations, Egypt Football Association, CAF and FIFA.

He recently indicated that he would welcome a return to Kenyan giants Gor Mahia.

“If another chance came my way, why not? I wouldn’t mind playing for the club again. I loved the club. The only club l played with passion and the only club l ever enjoyed my football,” he told their website.

“My stay in South Africa and Asia were all good l can’t complain but the truth is, my football life at Gor Mahia was the best. Gor Mahia fans are some of the best fans.”
