The last week’s top football flight of saw Muangthong rescued by the substitution, while Buriram was hunted down by BEC Tero at home.

The well-known Thai striker Teerathep Winothai struck again as Bangkok United turned up the heat on Suphanburi FC with a narrow 1-0 win.

The atmosphere was electric and the action was frenetic. Suphanburi started brightly with Carmelo Gonzalez going close in the 9th minute, cutting in and netting narrowly wide.

But it was the visiting side that managed to take the lead, when “Leesaw” Teeratep Winothai scored a superb volley in the 21st minute, putting Bangkok up front 1-0 in the first half.

Suphanburi spent the whole second half to bounce back but lacked creativity and struggled to break down disciplined and defensive opponents.

The last minute was called, and it was Bangkok United that visited Suphanburi and took the important three points back with them.

Ten-man BEC Tero dragged Buriram out of the Toyota top-four zone as they fought back to snatch a valuable point at the Thunder Castle.

Sathaporn Daengsee opened the scoring for the home side 11 minutes into the game before Milos equalised in the 37th minute of the first half.

In the second half, Jakkaphan Kaewprom gave home side a 47th minute lead again but Chananan Pombuppha levelled in the 60th minute.

In the 70th minute, Buriram took the lead once again, when Kim Seung Yong swept in but Chenrop Samphaodi’s header brought Tero back again in the 86th minute.

Visitor’s Adison Promrak was sent off but ten-man BEC Tero ended the match with a thrilling 3-3 draw against Buriram.

Chaiyawat Buran snatched a precious victory at Army with the winning goal scored in the last ten minutes.

The game became increasingly open as both teams wanted to snatch a leading goal but the first half finished scoreless.

It was Muangthong who managed to claim the first goal when winger Chaiyawat Buran looped visitors a 84th-minute cool finish to finally beat Army keeper Hassan Sunny, who had made many fine saves. As ả result, Muangthong grabbed three points to maintain the leading position.
