Iranian international midfielder is on the verge of signing for Croatian side .

The 22-year-old midfielder joined Sepahan in 2012 and won the Persian Gulf Pro League with Isfahan-based team in the 2014–15 season.

Karimi has already worked with Croatian coaches Zlatko Kranjcar and Igor Stimac in Sepahan.

He will join Croatian First Football League title-holder, according to Sepahan coach Abdollah Veisi.

“Karimi has a clause in his contract which let him to leave Sepahan. He is one of our best players but he will leave us to join Dinamo Zagreb,” Veisi told ’s state-run TV.

Karimi is a member of Iran U-23 team.
