Cambodian All-Star to face Morocco All Star on Sunday
A Cambodia Metfone C-League All-Star XI squad will meet their Moroccan counterparts on Sunday after the Football Federation of Cambodia announced a friendly international match between the sides earlier this week.
The match, to be played on Sunday evening at Phnom Penh’s National Olympic Stadium, is a celebration of 20 years of diplomatic relations between Cambodia and the North African nation.
However Tep Long, coach of Ministry of National Defense FC and the appointed leader of the All-Stars for Sunday’s matchup, expressed his reservations. A number of key players are suffering from various injuries and fatigue, with the fitness of Sou Yaty, Chan Vathanaka and Samuel Gbenga Ajayi all called into question in recent days.
