Cristiano Ronaldo has finished top of the UEFA Champions League scoring charts for the sixth consecutive season, ending the campaign with 15 goals to his name.

Ronaldo has now top-scored in the competition, either jointly or outright, a record seven times. His final tally this term is two short of his record of 17 for a single season.

Sadio Mané’s final goal meant he joined Liverpool colleagues Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah in joint second behind Ronaldo on ten strikes each. A Liverpool player did top the assists charts, though, midfielder James Milner setting a record by laying on nine goals for team-mates. The Reds found the net 47 times altogether, also a new all-time high for any UEFA club competition in a single season.
