Swedish superstar Zlatan Ibrahimovic to retire from international football after Euro 2016
Sweden are to face Belgium in thier final Group E game on Wednesday, which could possibly be his last game for the country.
Without managing to open his Euro 2016 goal account, this may well have led him to think that it is time to finish his international career. He said, according to the Swedish federation’s website: “Sweden’s last game at the European Championship will be my last match for Sweden. I hope it will not be tomorrow.”
He is now strongly linked with Manchester United after becoming a free agent when he left Paris St-Germain this summer.
