Everton begin their preparations for the 2023/24 Premier League campaign with a trip to Switzerland to face Stade Nyonnais this week.

The Toffees survived relegation from the top-flight on the final day last season and will be desperate for a better campaign this term.

However, Sean Dyche’s side are yet to sign anyone in the transfer market, suggesting it could be another year of struggle.

But Dyche is a master at getting the best out of his group, and a full pre-season should see the club reap the rewards.

Their first test sees them play Swiss Challenge League side Stade Nyonnais, who finished second in the third tier of Switzerland’s football pyramid last season to earn promotion.

Kick-off at the Centre Sportif de Colovray in Nyon, Switzerland is set for 5pm UK time.

The game will be shown live on Everton TV, along with the Toffees’ other pre-season fixtures.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Jordan Pickford and Dele Alli are among the group.

Unfortunately, there is no place for Seamus Coleman and Andros Townsend.
