Eddie Nketiah is weighing up his future at Arsenal due to the impending arrival of Kai Havertz.

That’s according to reports that claim the 24-year-old is concerned about being pushed down the pecking order by the German from Chelsea.

Havertz is set to swap London clubs with a £65million deal on the brink of completion, making Nketiah third-choice striker behind the Blue and Gabriel Jesus.

Nketiah had a breakthrough year at the Emirates last season, mainly thanks to injury struggles for Gabriel Jesus who joined for £50m from Manchester City.

Featuring in 38 games, he scored nine goals and registered two assists, while helping the club continue their Premier League title-challenging form in the absence of Jesus at the start of 2023.

But with Havertz potentially reducing Nketiah’s minutes even further, The Sun claim he’s ‘unsettled’ by the news.

West Ham, Crystal Palace and Fulham are all believed to be interested in the former England U21 should he leave, although Arsenal aren’t interested in selling.

Nketiah was linked with an exit last summer amid interest from Palace and Borussia Monchengladbach, but instead signed a new long-term deal.

He was also given Thierry Henry’s legendary no.14 shirt as a reward for his loyalty, but the academy graduate may now be having second thoughts.
