POSSIBLE XI

This is a crucial period of fixtures for Jurgen Klopp’s men who will go top of the Premier League for a few hours at least with a win

Liverpool will find themselves at the top of the Premier League with a win over Bournemouth on Saturday lunchtime, kick-off 12:30pm.

The Reds will be feeling confident going into the game at the Vitality Stadium having secured two wins earlier this week – at home to Everton and away to Burnley on Sunday and Wednesday respectively.

Jurgen Klopp has some decisions to make on who should start against Bournemouth

They come up against a Cherries side who are not in the best form with four defeats in their last five matches but their last game saw them claim an important 2-1 win over Huddersfield on Tuesday.

Squad rotation is prevalent during this busy schedule of fixtures so we can expect Jurgen Klopp to make multiple changes, particularly with Liverpool’s crucial Champions League match against Napoli on Tuesday night.

So how might the Merseyside club line up? Below you can see talkSPORT.com’s predicted Liverpool XI.

Predicted Liverpool team: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Van Dijk, Robertson; Fabinho, Milner, Keita; Salah, Shaqiri, Origi

Forwards Sadio Mane (foot) and Dominic Solanke (groin), defenders Dejan Lovren (concussion), Joe Gomez (broken leg) and Nathaniel Clyne (muscle) are all sidelined, in addition to long-term absentees Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Rhian Brewster (both knee).

However, left-back Andy Robertson returns to the squad having been rested for the midweek win at Burnley.

And although he’s in the squad, Georginio Wijnaldum may not feature as he has reportedly not trained with the team all week.
