It’s what we’ve all been waiting for – grassroots football is back!

All forms of outdoor sport can be played once again and there’s a lot to be optimistic and excited about. We’re really looking forward to seeing our local football pitches active again as we’re sure you are all looking forward to getting your boots back on and scoring or saving a few goals.

If you want to look extra sharp next season, enter Your Move’s Your Club Your Kit competition now to be in with the chance of winning a new kit for your team.

As part of our Your Club Your Kit campaign we caught up with Queens Park Rangers striker Charlie Austin to understand what grassroots football meant to him, how important his kits have been over the years and why giving over 100 grassroots or school clubs the chance to win a new kit is such a great initiative.

We know what a vital role grassroots football plays in many local communities, which is why as an EFL Official Communities Supporter, Your Move launched their nationwide competition Your Club Your Kit to help support local teams. To enter the kit competition* simply visit your-move.co.uk/kit

Enjoy being back and as Charlie says: “Just play and just enjoy it, that’s all I did.”
